Following the announcement of changes to the Winter Fuel Payment Scheme, residents have understandably been in contact with my office to voice their concerns. I am deeply disappointed the Government has used its first few weeks to choose to put the interest of its union backers before vulnerable pensioners. 

I am working together with colleagues to press the Government to protect people in retirement.
