I am grateful to my parliamentary colleagues for electing me to the Education Select Committee. I have been involved in the education and children’s policy sphere at a local, national, and international level. I look forward to the ambitious programme which I am sure the Committee will embark upon and to working with my colleagues from all parties on the Committee; to hold the Government to account and to improve the lives of children and young people across the whole of the UK.
