I had a useful meeting with Chief Superintendent Peter Gardner, West Area Commander, last week to discuss the key issues facing Hillingdon. I was reassured by plans that will aim to tackle drug-related crime, and by statistics demonstrating that incidences of burglary in the area have decreased. We also discussed future plans and tackling challenges from the Covid-19 outbreak and I am confident that they are well prepared. I will work with and support West BCU in any way I can in my capacity as MP, including on national, legislative changes and local community engagement.
