It was a pleasure to drop in to Tesco in Pinner Green this morning to support their Winter Food Collection. In partnership with the Trussell Trust and FareShare, this annual event is now in its 11th year.
It is taking place between 30 November and 2 December, so residents still have time to support the community by donating any of the following items:
• UHT Milk
• Tinned meat/fish
• Tinned meals (curries, chilli & casseroles)
• Tinned fruit
• Sponge/rice puddings
• Coffee
• Long-life juice
• Pasta sauce
• Tinned veg
• Soup
It was a great opportunity to chat with the team and volunteers, as well as to thank them for their efforts in supporting charities to provide food to those facing hardship.
