In December, I invited GP surgeries across Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner to attend a virtual surgery, with a view to raise with me, as the local Member of Parliament, their concerns and challenges.
I was interested to follow this discussion up with some visits, so that I could see first-hand the situation on the frontline. I was delighted to be able to meet with Professor Ian Goodman at the Mountwood Surgery in Northwood this morning.
We had a productive conversation about the challenges facing the practice, many of which I know are shared by others across the constituency, and how they are managing the backlog created by the pandemic.
It was a really useful visit, and I will ensure that the points raised are discussed with my colleagues in the Government.
