Visit with HS2 Minister

I know that residents remain concerned about the impact of HS2 on our local area. 

Last week, I was joined in the constituency by Andrew Stephenson MP, Minister of State at the Department for Transport. I took the opportunity to raise residents' concerns and also show him the archaeology works at the HS2 site in Harefield last week. I am pleased to see that feedback has improved with ministers holding HS2 to account closely.

Upon being elected in 2019, I joined the HS2 Review Group. This was a group of colleagues from across the country who were keen to see the Government look again at the need for this project. We made direct representations with both the DfT and No.10.
