During the Chancellor's statement on public finances this week, I raised my concerns about what this means for the delivery of the new Hillingdon Hospital. Despite questioning the Chancellor on this, I am no clearer on the answer.
I have therefore written to the Chancellor asking for immediate confirmation that she intends to honour the commitment by the previous Government to deliver the new Hillingdon Hospital, especially as work is already underway on the project.
I have also invited the MPs for Uxbridge & South Ruislip and Hayes & Harlington to work cross-party on this and other borough-wide matters so that we can deliver for residents in all corners of Hillingdon.
