I was pleased to hold my surgery at Café Hills on Joel Street this morning. These are a fantastic way to engage with residents in-person, as well as catch up with the local businesses who host my team on a rotational basis.
One of my appointments this morning was with Clare Nazerali, Director at Home-Start Hillingdon. The charity was established in 1999 and provides free support to struggling families with young children across the community. Invaluable to this service are the trained volunteers who are matched to one family with at least one child under five.
It was a useful discussion, and I will continue to support the delivery of this incredibly important work.
