We are nearing the time of year where many annual festive events are taking place across the community.
This weekend, it was great to meet with volunteers setting up the popular Martinmas Fayre at St Martin's Church Hall in Ruislip and to drop off my donation to the silent auction - a bottle of House of Commons wine signed by the Leader of the Opposition, Kemi Badenoch.
I also attended the Christmas lights switch-on in Northwood Hills alongside local council colleagues. This event always draws in a huge crowd and it was great to see the rain holding off this year.
It was an excellent turnout for two popular community events. I am grateful to all for their help in setting these up and ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
