I was delighted to attend the Diwali celebrations at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Pinner this morning.
Diwali symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance, bringing family and communities together to commemorate this message of positivity and hope.
It is also a fantastic time to celebrate, and to be reminded of, the cultural diversity within our local community. I am proud to represent a constituency that is reflective of the inclusivity of the United Kingdom as a whole.
I am grateful for the warm welcome, and I hope that all those celebrating had a wonderful Diwali.
