I had a useful catch up with partners at the Harefield Practice this morning.
During my last visit, we discussed their engagement with NHS Property Services concerning the unoccupied first floor of the building in which the practice is located. While they would like to offer more services to patients, such as mental health nursing and addiction support, the limited space prevents them from doing so.
This is something I raised with the previous Health Secretary and now her successor, Wes Streeting, to request their intervention on. It is a great disadvantage to the community to have an empty space that could instead be utilised to extend the services provided to patients in Harefield.
I hope for some progress to be made, and I look forward to hearing back from the Health Secretary.
